I just got my hands on a copy of Descent 2 and installed it and installed the Windows NT patch. It runs fine, up until the game is actually suppose to start though. The menus come up fine, the sound works good, as does the mouse. But after I start a new game and go through the intro movie and the enemy briefing, I get an application error:

The memory could not be written

Click OK to terminate the application

The memory addresses seem to be slightly different each time too. Any ideas?

That almost is better. But the menu system is very sluggish and some fields don't even appear, like the window for customizing controls is completely blank. The lettering for the enemy briefing also doesn't appear. Is there a solution for the official NT version?
