On win2k there is a bug that D3 has, where you sort teleport, your AB goes to 0, and (if you're charging it) fusion is suddenly overcharged. I think a solution to this problem has been posted before, but I couldn't find it. anyone know how to make it stop happening?

IIRC, its setting your framecap to something reasonable.
like, 60.

60 is not reasonable. 100+ is.

Why is 60 not reasonable?

Because 60 is below your refresh rate at ANY resolution. Presuming you aren't V-Syncing a 60 FPS signal, you should be refreshing at 75-100Hz depending on the resolution you're on.
Don't be mistaken: your eyes may not be able to distinguish QUANTITATIVE differences above 60 FPS, but your brain knows QUALITATIVE differences.
60 FPS means 17ms of extra machine Lag.
60 FPS means controllers being polled at 60 FPS too.
Getting your framerate up to your refresh rate (and above) makes for higher quality gaming, faster control response and less lag.

*ehem* I have a maximum of 60 MHz refresh rate on my monitor @ 1280x1024 res.
yes, I know my monitor sucks, but I got it for free.

Actually, it should be between 72 and 85 Hz. ^_~

gah, 60mhz makes my eyes hurt within 30 seconds. Lower your resolution, Heartless, before you end up with trifocals before you hit 30.

D3 looks great and plays great @ 640x480
personally I play @ 800 x 600
at 1024 x 768 the text is all screwey.
60hz is super lame. I need a minimum of 85hz, which I get at 1600 x 1200. At 800x600 I get 144hz, and 640x480 I get 150.
try the 2 lower rezzes. You'll thank yourself later.
