I've heard that song quite a bit on C4... more than I want to in fact. I can't stand hip-hop, New Zealand stuff or otherwise.
There is one difference though: it's not all about getting into bed (or whatever will do as a substitue) with people.
Still sounds trashy to me though. I know people back in the 60s said that about rock and roll as well... but I just hope this trend is less long-lived.
