I have recently just started playing D3 again. I remember a guy telling me about changing / locking my FPS on the setup menu.
I remember the line "-nointro", but I have forgotten all the other spify little texts.
Might any of you be so kind as to label all the features I can edit in the config area, thanks.

OMG AVDER!1111! WAY TO HELP YUO GET TEH PRZIE!!!!11
Commandlines will vary by system, graphics card and API, Graphire.
What is your processor, video card and what API do you run d3 under (DirectX? OpenGL? Glide?).
For my Pentium 4/Geforce FX5900 running under OpenGL, I use the following commandline:
-nointro -nomusic -nooutragelogo -deadzone0 0.0 -deadzone1 0.0 -framecap 0 -nomotionblur -nosparkles
Some will recommend -nopentium3 as well, but Krom suggests leaving it on as the pentium3 polygon handling optimizations are beneficial. Experimentation on my part indicates that frames are indeed gained. YMMV

-nomotionblur is only for singleplayer. Add -playermessages and -z32bit to your list, Chris.
Graphire, the readme has all the command lines and their descriptions. If you have a question on any one in particular, ask away.

Personally for multiplayer I use a shortcut that directly launches D3:
D:\Games\Descent3\MAIN.EXE -launched -framecap 0 -nointro -nosparkles -nomotionblur -deadzone0 0.06 -deadzone1 0.06 -nomusic -usesmoothing -z32bit -width 1152 -height 864
For single player it is mostly the same thing, just remove -nomusic.
