Ever since I started playing D3 again my Radeon 9200 is been nothing but trouble. As soon as more than five people join in the game starts jerking around and I'm tired of it. When I had my Voodoo 3 card installed I could 12 people with no problem. I played BF1942 single player and multiplayer and that game ran smoother than what Descent 3 is doing. Can someone please help me out here?

Heres my system: AMD 1000 ghz TBird, 384 megs of ram, Radeon 9200 video card with DX9, 80 gig hd, and 56k of course.

I had the same issue which refused to go away until I upgraded my vid-card. Does it only happen when lots of other ships are in view? Or can it happen at any time?

Try vertical syncing. Enable in both drivers and in game.

I got it working now. But I'm beginning to wonder why I even bought this damn card.

I miss my Voodoo3 too.
