what kinda sucks about mobi tv is that they make you think its just like tv...

when in fact the sound doesnt match the picture because you only get about half the frames of a real stream..

Also misleading is the fact that the other "channels" only offer streaming...not actual live pictures...

so its like downloaded clips from an hour ago or 15 minutes..or whatever... its still not "live" yet..

still cool...just not "T.V." quite yet.

Doesn't anybody think TV is a little overused? I can't wait to see how many extra commercials they can jam into your phone now.

Sounds fine to me, Fern :)

I slammed my horn, ran off the road a bit, she moved back over and I continued home.

But this is a daily occurance for me, though they don't usually get that close.
It's a good thing I have a habbit of looking at each car I pass.

I've been driving down the freeway and had similar incidents happen; mostly the other driver was not paying attention or checking their blind spot. I used to hit the brakes first, now I hit the horn first. :P

haha.. i got you all beat. :P

Today while I was headin down a street I saw a semi behind me comin reeeeal close. now if I had to hit my brakes he woulda plowed right into me and shoved me right into the intersection. Of course he pulled something similar in another lane and he almost ended up pushing a one ton forward when the light turned green.

yay go stupid semi drivers.

I actually witnessed a real life 4-5 car pileup on Interstate 101 southbound in San Jose, involving one person who was in the left-most lane decided that he needed to exit on the ramp that he was passing up, causing the car he swerved in front of to slam on his brakes, causing the car behind him to also slam on his brakes, and the one behind him to do the same, and finally, the Tanker Truck to slam them all into each other in one nice tight wreck. I drove slowly by and called KCBS.

"We heard from Eric of the KCBS phone force of a 4 or five car pileup involving a big rig on south 101 at the capitol expressway offramp..."

I was on the Grand Central parkway, which at one point is elevated above the ground. It was about 11:30 at night, and the guy in front of us all of a sudden swerved across 2 lanes into the center divider, then came all the way back across 3 lanes into the guardrail at about 40mph. Had he gone over the guardrail he would have gone 15 or 20 feet down to the ground. While my dad was setting down flares, I called the cops and grabbed the digicam we have in the car. The 3 passengers got out of the car fine, but the driver was pinned down. They had to use the jaws of life to get him out. Scary stuff...

Heh Lobber, the other day I was driving up to San Jose from Gilroy... Anyway, somewhere between Morgan Hill and the 85 onramp a bigrig had crashed into the middle divider wall (not sure how, guy probably was drunk and/or fell asleep). Anyway, when I got to it it was a smoking "shell" of a big rig. Just thought I'd share!
