Finally deleted it in the registry. Nothing else would work, including their so called Bonus Pack Powertoys sh__t.

don't forget to hit the clear document history in the task bar optins menu under "Settings" at the Start button.

The issue is the computer behaving the way I want it to, not fear of porn.

Since virtually everything MS says about this is incorrect, here is the key, for future ref:

regedit in the run command, then find:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList

You know, you could also just open up media player (assuming you're using v9) and open up your options, click the privacy tab and click "Clear History".

uncheck the box "Save file and URL history in the Player" always helps too!
