Star Ocean : Till the End of Time
Uhhh.... So what's the verdict, Warlock? Have you been eternally sucked into the games immense storyline? I read through a player's guide for the first few pages, I hope that the game isn't very long, as there are so many times that you can replay through it. JMEaT, I know you're all over this game, too, so what's the verdict? I like the sci-fi concept, but is it anywhere near the level of Xenosaga Ep. 1?
Off-Topic: Have either of you played Disgaea (or spelled similarly, pronounced Dis-guya or Dis-jeeya)? A friend of mine is saying it's pretty sweet, great storyline, awesome voice-acting, comedic, and he may or may not have said the gameplay is Final Fantasy Tactics-esque.

Back on topic now: SO3 is much like SO2 but feels more linear. Still, I find myself skipping through the cut scenes and story just to get to the area where I can kill massive amounts of stuff.
The battles are very fast paced (with a catchy tune) and after you fill up a bonus battle meter, every encounter is a bonus battle where you can earn Triple EXP , Double FOL, Increased recovery after battle, and increased item drop rate until you take a critical hit, die and a few other conditions. My record is Chain 53, but Warlock told me he got Chain 119.
You can earn battle trophies for things you accomplish (IE Kill 2 enemies at once, take no damage for 10 fights in a row etc) There are like 300 some odd trophies I believe.
Character motions are pretty clumsy looking, but voice acting is well done so far. A few of the in battle taunts get a little old, but you can disable speech during battles.
That's all I got, I really have no idea anything about the story as it hasn't really pulled me in, but the battles...... the battles.....
