Looking for a really old cheepo laptop. :)

Post by []V[]essenjah »

I was wondering if anyone would know where I could find a cheepo laptop? I'm not talking about the latest hardware here. I'm talking about something small but usefull that I can simply type on while I'm going on a short road trip so that I may continue my work on a consistant basis. All I need it to do, is simply write text and wordpad documents and "maybe" Milkshape 3D but that's optional. I figure, this way I can do paperwork all the time no matter where I am located. It is unbelievable how many times I've been in the back seat of a car or sitting in a resteraunt thinking, "I sure wish I had a laptop so that I could continue my work." Anyway, I must also be able to transport my documents to my main home PC. :) Anyway, does anyone know where I could find some really old hardware that could run some basic programs like this for around $100-$200?

I have a very similar laptop to that one (pentium 200, 72 RAM, 4 GB HD.) I kept it around for D1, but my current system runs D1 just fine, so I no longer need it.

Since kur got here first, go with his -- but if it won't work for you for some reason, let me know and I'll dig mine out and post more extensive info and a price.
