How do you sit on a bike with balls that big?

YEah I got a kick out of that. When I first read the headline on on the startribune the other day I thought "Wait, hes going 205mph, and he got CAUGHT?" but then it was a bike, so

Wow, must be one heckuva tweaked crotch rocket to reach that speed. Nice looking too ...

If he crashed at that speed, he'd be one nasty wad of meat

I was wondering how much the speeding ticket would be for.
and yea.. laying that one over would have been messy. there wouldn't have been enough to bury. Any physics geeks out there? Calculate the estimated distance of travel of average man, average mass, at 205 mph post jettison.

i say...SPLAT

Was the modification a sidewinder missile engine strapped to the back?

A bikers group is actually challenging the speed the cop measured, explaining that an error of so much as a half second on the stopwatch could knock the speed down to 185MPH.

Does that extra 20 mph really make a difference? Either way, he was going over
one freakin' hundred mph over the speed limit!

hell yeah it does. thats alot less of a fine for 185mph than 205mph

Ah, the icy logic of our judicial system
.

Actually it might. If hes charged with doing 205 over the limit and he wasnt, hes only charged with reckless driving.

Which carries a heavier weight/fines than any speeding ticket ever could. Also can result in inprisonment to boot.
When an officer gives you a choice of a speeding ticket or a reckless driving.. YOU TAKE THE SPEEDING TICKET.
BTW: very rare if they dont give you both!

Hehe, that myth's been around for years. The Arizona Highway Patrol supposedly still gets calls by people asking if it was true

I heard they have a special hotline just for that myth, kinda like the CDC does for a certain banana myth (the one about the flesh-eating bacteria).

Maybe, but sky-cops use a timer and marks on the ground. Read the story again.
