Thank God Almighty we are Free at last!
Ref: This Thread
Make a long story short ... I am now divorced, I got legal and physical custody of my children, I got the home and contents, I got all the retirement 401(k), I got all the stock options ... I won big.
She got a severely restricted and supervised visitation schedule and a 10 day suspended sentence contingent upon her completing an extensive psychological and substance abuse program with a respected psychologist here in town. Judge said that if she did not complete it he would not hesitate to put her in jail.
Anyhow we are FREE now ...
Freedom is ....
* Not having to worry about my children having to eat from cans (yes, thats right, Ravioli gets real old).
* Not having to worry about my children (ages 8 and 10) watching heavily sexual R rated movies while I am gone.
* Not having to fight tooth and nail for the right to take my children to church.
* Not worrying that my children may die today because their mother is toasted and driving again.
* Not having to wonder why she is giggling while I am at work talking to her on the phone.
* Not having to come home to see a pair of semen stained panties laid on top of the hamper for me to see and wash.
* Not having to pay $3950 in late fees to the bank this year because she took over the finances and couldn't balance a checkbook.
* Not finding a stack of bills that haven't been paid and were 30 days to 3 years late.
* Not having to trim back all activities and scrimp hard because I just found out my home was in foreclosure.
* Not having to watch my back at all times, recording all conversations in person and telephone, out of fear that she will again attempt to manufacture evidence to discredit me.
* Not having to watch my back at all times in fear of her boyfriend slitting my throat as he claimed he would do.
* ...
* Not having to finish this list of BS because I am letting it go and starting a new life for me and my kids ...
Praise God folks, there is justice in this world. I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for helping me up when I stumbled, carrying me when I passed out, giving me evidence when I needed evidence, letting her screw up when I needed her to screw up, giving me money when I desperately needed it, and giving me a rock solid support system with my friends and family.
Amen
