Umm....if you were banned, more than likely you were banned for a reason. Contact the administrator.

looks like an IP-range ban.
yer probably out of luck until they decide to remove it, or you get a new IP from a different IP range.

Probably not going happen in a long while, unless you switch ISPs.

yes you can get a new IP, but chances are, it be a new IP from the same range you have already, and still would be banned.

What flip is trying to get across to you is that more than likely they banned your ISP's IP range. No ammount of renewing IPs on your end will do anything.
For example, if Xciter were to ban 172.*.*.* from the DBB, nobody from AOL would be able to post. No matter what they did (aside from using a proxy server), they wouldn't be able to post.
Now more than likely it was just banned xxx.xxx.*.* (where xxx.xxx would be your ISP's allocated IP range) so if your ISP were allocated another range, you *might* be able to get back on.
That being said, bypassing a ban would only get you into more trouble. (and I don't mean the "slap on the wrist" kind of trouble, I mean the kind where they contact your ISP and have them suspend your account.) You were banned for a reason, live with it and move on.

If thats the case, then he needs to contact them and confirm the IP address of the offender, and compare that to the IP addresses he had at the time. If he can prove that the offender isn't him, then he'll have a chance of getting the ban lifted. Of course, the only real way for the admin to confirm that it wasn't him is if he/she contacted his ISP and requested which logon was using the offender's IP address. I seriously doubt the admin would be willing to do that (and this is assuming that the ISP would even be willing to release that information without a court order...).
Its either that, or using a proxy server.

If the administrator isn't willing to undo it, then find another site. To be honest, you really sound like the guilty party here. Like I said earlier, trying to bypass the ban like that could get you in a heap of trouble. Let it be, and go play somewhere else.

No offense, but it sounds like they banned you for a reason. Learn from your mistakes and move on, dont be such a newbie about it. Trying to spoof your IP will only get you into deeper trouble. Just because its the internet doesn't mean you can be annonymous, or be annonymous for long.
