but what ages me the most is they make u run it at 1024x768 full AA and full AF and i never run aney of my games like that cause like u have time to stand there and look at then detail when u have 7 other people trying to kill your ass

Just for shits and giggles, I was going to try to run 3DMark 2005 on my crappy laptop, just to see how deep in the single digit range I'd get. I should have checked the minimum requirements before starting the download, but I was doing it on a lark, so it didn't surprise me when the benchmark wouldn't run.
Now, what did surprise me was when I dug up an old PC Gamer demo disk with 3DMark 2000 on it, I couldn't get that one to run either. That served as a nice, handy reminder why I have a job this year...
