I wish I could have met you
Under different circumstance
Now I stand here at your door
Like a vagrant in a fine suit / a straight jacket (that I wore myself)
Around my shoulders

I wish I could have had a drink
And talked about a finer fight
I would shed my silky exoskeleton
And remove the noose (that I tied myself)
From around my neck

I wish I could have known you
But your face is full of scorn
Disdain in your indifference
And eyeballs maliciously pirouetting

October morning breeze blows my hair over my eyes
