Hey there girls! Howdy from Austria!
Long time no see, hope you are all well.
Reason why I'm posting here is (for once) nothing really Descent related, but I still hope that you guys can help me. I am searching for a Flash-wiz who wants to earn some extra pocket money. It's a small project for the domain
www.biogolftee.com and I just don't know where I can find someone who is willing to work on that thing for a couple days, it would be a one week project or so, but maybe just one day (I just don't know how much work it is actually..)
And so I thought I'll just drop my ol friends a line cuz I know that you are rockin!
Lemme know if you are interested at
michael.dorner@digicard.at or UIN# 8727945

there ya go .. whipped up a small logo in 5 Minutes, hope you're happy
Yes I'm Austrian, and I've always been
Nitro: I'm basically looking into some portal with a world map n stuff. DCrazy seems to be interested as well and we'll see how it'S gonna be. The bigger thing is that whoever wants to do this job, he or she has to show me how the program works so I can change stuff by myself afterwards

Eagle, you need Jbomb. He's the Flash Master. He doesn't come here anymore, but he can be found quite often on irc.gamesurge.net #Descent3. I dont know if he's got time. He's the James Brown of Flash layout. If I see him, I'll point him at this thread.

JBomb is more of a Rick James than a James Brown.

TELL YOUR FRIEND "YOUR SITE DOES NOT NEED (OR WANT) FLASH"
Repeat after me: "FLASH IS ONLY FOR ANNOYING BANNER ADVERTS, AND MULTIMEDIA CONTENT WHICH *CAN NOT* BE DISPLAYED WITH HTML".
Flash = 99% bad

I see Flash as a good software for making cartoons fast and easily. I always think that actual WEBSITES made with Flash are a bad idea. They are always slow.

Ugh @ Mobius.
1) You are not the only web designer here.
2) You don't know what Eagle is looking for.
3) I know Flash isn't always the best tool for the job, but in this case it is. If you knew more about it then maybe your opinion would be qualified. But it would still be wrong.

I'm gonna quote this the next time my boss is pissing me off:

.. I think that would look cool on a t-shirt as well...

Let see... yep. D3Help still has its navigation trapped in javascript.
Mobi is a hypocrite. He shouldn't go around knocking people for improperly using web technologies when he misuses them himself.

Yep, I was surfing the net in Lynx the other day, just like I always do, and lo and behold, Mobi's site is completely inaccessible. And should "HTML Transitional" still exist? I mean, people have had how many years to make the "transition"?
