Yes, I'm actually waiting for the G-1000 to be a liquid metal terminator that knows everything about me and takes over the world.

I don't know. I tried it, but it doesn't seem to offer anything I couldn't previously do?

Except it can search the content of office documents. Email and chat clients have search functions, and for the rest I use the standard windows search.

I am naturally organized though. 'My documents' weighs in at 9GB/46.000 files, still I know the location of everything I ever need in there.

I've been using the "Containing text" search for ages now- sorry google, but I don't see much of a void in the hard drive searching abilities built into windoze that you can fill.

You guys don't seem to understand. This isn't for powerusers who micromanage folders and have perfect organization already. This is for normal people who dump everything into "my documents" because they have no concept of folder structure. Being able to find information from this program would prove to be very useful for these people, and seems to be somewhat similar to what Microsoft wants to do with Longhorn and their metadata/database driven file system.

No what he is saying is that noobies do not know what right click and search is... you know the type...they have an icon for everything on their desktop, quick launch, and systray (does that bring anyone to mind :x ). who have no idea how to click start/search without it being an ICON on the desktop@!
