Play from hard drive?

I'm playing D3 on a Mac, but it will only let me play if the CD is in the drive. How can I copy to disk and play so it will run faster?

It's not playing from the CD, it's just using the CD for music or only some files. Nothing that will impact performance. You could use google to look for a nocd for it.

Or for a non-questionable solution, download a copy of daemon tools, burn an ISO of the first D3 CD to your hard drive (if you use Nero, select Image Recorder, and use the copy CD function) and then just mount the ISO by right-clicking on the icon in your system tray.

Nothing "questionable" about the 1.4NOCD patch. Geez, next you'll be caling the Black-Pyro enabler questionable.

The game is buyable for about the same the price as burning it.

Mobius, the Nocd crack is a copyright violation according to the DMCA. It's just that nobody cares.

I think typing the word "The" is also a copyright violation according to the DMCA, probably why nobody cares.

do you think there is a d3 1.4 nocd crack for macintosh? is there even a copyprotection on the d3 mac version cd´s?

probaly it helps just copying the moviefiles from the cd into the d3/movies folder
