Word. Especially for bribing EA into castrating their Xbox games so that they aren't Live-enabled.

Dude: Standard retail price for games in New Zealand is $99.95

Extra-Famous releases are $129.95. And for ****'s sake - if anyone says "Yeah, but that's only NZ money" - I swear, I will hunt you down and kill you!!11 Because $99.95 is $99.95 no matter what you say!

I think PS2 is the best console there is. Biggest library of games, plus it's the RPG'ers choice machine. Image

GTA games are cool, but I get burnt out on em halfway through.

Standard games go for 69.99 to 79.99 plus 15% taxes here so I know how you feel Mobi. Why i use the 5 finger discount first and if the game is worth it, then I buy it.

I have quite a few game systems, and they all have their merits.
PS2 is excellent in graphics and rpg's
Gamecube, rpg's to a degree, first person shooters, and longer, more in-depth games.
PC,s are good 1st person shooters, moddable, and online gaming
This is just my opinion, but I think others may feel the same

Most games are $50 when they release. A few end up at $40 on release. GBA games (most of them, FFTA is an exception) are $30 on release.

Actually, MD, you'd be surprised, especially GTA4!

The fact is, that is cheap for a PS2 game!

Basically, we get raped for just about everything, when compared with the US exchange.

Example. My two Gibson basses cost nearly £900. I could only *just* afford a brand new Fender. (MIA - "top notch")

Now in US dollers, thats like... $2000, nearly.

I could buy at least two brand new Fenders!

HaAG, 900 pounds = $1600 (and that's with our currently horrible dollar).

Here is a $1500 Gibson Thunderbird IV: http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem. ... &SortMetho d=2&Word1=&Contains=&Search_Type=SEARCH&GroupCode=nonetodaythanks
