HL 2 has gone gold and is expected in stores Nov 16th.
Gonna reserve my copy tonight.
69.99 for regular
112.00 for Collector's Edition.

it's quite difficult to describe the source engine sage.
crisp, clear... new.

extremely well optimised...i am running css at 1024x768 with everything set to max detail, even all reflections, and on top of that have 16x aniso and 4x fsaa enabled, and still get over 100 fps wtih drops to 60-70 fps. Looks freakign incredible, better than doom3 imo.
