So, what do the next 2 weeks hold? Terrorist attacks? Domestic rioting? Who's going to win? Let's hear your predictions.

If Bush wins, a terrorist attack for pay backs. If Kerry wins no attack until after Kerry pulls troops out early from Iraq.

i find baseball as a sport incredibly boring. but i have to give the final game of the world series serious props. i did not see one campaign ad the entire game.
i'm voting for "the world series" for president!

Nothing is going to happen. Bush may win, we put politics aside once more (thankfully, just when one gets sick of politics, elections are just around the corner) and we continue to fight in Iraq.

There is no scenario where a surprise unveiling of a captured/killed OBL would be helpful right now. Even I would have to question the timing.

The thing is, Pebkac, you're probably more intelligent then 80% of the 'public'. They won't question the timing 'cause they lack the intellect to do so.

If there was going to be another terrorist attack it would have happend by now IMO. Personally I feel that they would have done it much sooner after 9/11 then wait until now. Knowing them though who can be sure.
I do know one thing, I don't think they expected to stir up such a bees nest after 9/11. They were probably confident that an attack of that magnitude would crush our spirits and drive us out of their neck of the woods. I think they know now what the Japanese found out after Pearl Harbor. We may look soft on the outside, but underneith theres a full metal jacket interior
Any hostile aggravation only increases activity in their neck of the woods

i don't think there will be any rioting, if the experience has sobered the (non-republican) usa population as it has me.
personally i have found the experience frightening as i've come to a greater understanding of public sentiment in both my own country (australia) and usa (remember, we only just had an election ourselves in australia).
i never knew the "right wing" had so much support from the civilian population.
I do understand the magnetism of the right wing, that's never been a mystery to me. But i never really knew SO MANY people went for that kindof stuff.

I cant see any way a terrorist attack would occur at this point between now and tomorrows election. The timing would ultimately help no one, as would things such as raising the terror threat level, issuing warnings and the like. People all over the world would read too much into it politically. So yeah, it looks like we'll be terror-free for at least the next 48 hours.
Wendsday morning, the defecation will hit the ventilation en masse when the lawyer armies go to war over ballots. Theres your real act of terrorism in the works.
