He sewed the patch on back to front! LMAO!
Even I noticed it was backwards!

Only one side of the patch can be sewed to the fabric. On the other arm the flag is facing the right direction! This is the same reason that American flags on the sides of buses and trains are facing the right way on one side and the wrong on the other! Backwards is much better than upside-down, which signifies dissatisfaction with the government!
Show's how much (little) Mobi thought about that one!

DCrazy, if the patch is correct on his left shoulder the same patch will work on the right. Maybe he's saying "with one hand behind our back america is..."

The patch is fine. Tradition dictates that the stars always face forwards. Some people will say that it's to give the illusion of it flowing backwards from forward movement.
See, for example,
Air Force One.

An upside-down flag is a distress signal.

The American flag part is not a chop. They are worn like that.

i wasn't talking about the large flag.
here, i'll explain:
patches aren't made in reverse like that, even as a mistake. that leads me to believe the photo is in reverse (mirrored). The wording 'doing the work of' in the proper way only reinforces the belief that it's backwards. Also the shading on the smaller patches isn't quite right. too dark in some parts, and too light in others.

of course its a chop.
the whole point of the picture is not that the f*ckin american flag is backwards, it's that "America is doing the work for germany, france, etc, because they are too p*ssy to do it themselves"
Honestly, it's woodchip posting here. I would have thought you guys would have figured that out lickity-split.

Ferno, the flag in reverse is actually right (look at Tetrad's picture of Air Force One). It's not a backwards - and - photochopped picture, it's a forwards - and - probably - not - photochopped picture (as kurupt said.)

Just so IĆ¢??m not accused of being obtuse, the foreign flags are funny but chopped.
As for the American flag, it is correct. The one on his left shoulder will look like it should. The one on the right shoulder always looks backwards. Look at any commercial aircraft. The flag on the vertical stab is the same way. I am not sure why this is but it is.

Weird.

that photo may or may not be photochopped, that i dont know for sure because i didnt take it or chop it, but i have seen maybe not the exact same decor, but very very similar ones on soldiers before. I have buddies in the marines who have almost exactly whats in that picture.
point being - hehe!

It's definitely a Photochop, but the backwards American flag is real. In fact, in complete irony, a page describing why the American flag is backwards on the guy's arm uses the very picture above to demonstrate its point (minus the Photoshop additions, of course)!
