Getting A Wedgie!

I don't really believe that this issue affected the election much (despite liberal claims that it was a wedge issue) but since it's a lingering social issue, let's see how DBB Americans (yes, roid, that means you shouldn't vote) feel about it.

Bash, you are a poll dumbass.
If you want a poll to have some meaning, whatever you want to know, do not give them an easy out like "I dont care". If you must have a fifth option, make it "I am not an American, but I must push buttons".

Krom, didnt you get the memo? You know, the one stating that every poll on the DBB must have at least one easy out/silly option?

Don't really care. It doesn't have anything to do with me or the people I know ATM so it really isn't any of my business. If I knew a couple of gay people who wanted to get married and have the same benefits as men and women have my opinion might be different.
I could have voted for the first one just as easily. It really doesn't matter to me if they have the same rights as straight couples. You gave me a don't care option though and if thats listed in most polls thats probably where I'm going to vote since frankly I don't care about a lot of hot topic issues that people constantly have to talk about.

There is one misconception in the gay arena that really, *REALLY* bugs me. Gays have the same rights as every other man or woman in the US. They can take a spouse just like the rest of us--provided the spouse is of the opposite gender. That's all the rest of us are doing. Why is it so important that a fringe group be allowed to do more?

Stryker, what part of GAY don't you understand? Also, they are hardly fringe these days if you haven't noticed.
It's a whole complicated mess. Damn humans

i don't know anyone who cares who you are shoving your genitals into. it's when you bring up the fact that people are benefiting from their personal relationships that it becomes an issue. make everyone "equal" and have to pay for their decisions and insurance is when it gets all "cornerstone of society".
how about:
NO ONE FINANCIALLY BENEFITS FROM THEIR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.
someone call me a communist or something.
