Allawi have given the go ahead to take Falluja. So first of: God speed to our troops.
More interesting to me was Sunday I went to the local post office and the local peace loving socialists were out parading with signs proclaiming "Protect the lives of innocent Iraqi's". How droll.
I guess even after the elections, the far leftniks still want us to worry more about protecting terrorist lives than our own troops. In Washington it is reported hundreds (heh...not thousands) protested "the war". further indication how the far left wants the terrorist to win. Afterall just who do they think we are fighting right now...peace loving Iraqi's who few us as hob nail booted occupiers bent on raping and pillaging their land "In the fashion of Genghis Khan"? Me wonders if Kerry were elected if these self same protestors would be out in force? Before you of good conscious say yes, remember back to the halycon days of Clinton and the Bosnian war. Can't remember many protesting the slaughter of innocents there.
Perhaps these protester could find their way over to Iraq and protest in the street of Falluja? Naw, they tried that back when Saddam was in power.
Me? I hope our troops shoot first and let Allah sort them out afterwards.
I was hoping the saber-rattling would suffice. But now that it's necessary, let's hope it's short and decisive and that the Iraqi National Guard has the manpower to hold and pacify it this time.
boy again Woodchip, you hit it right on the head. We, that opposed the war, would rather see the terrorists live than our troops, what an incredibly accurate, thought out statement. Funny thing is, our troops wouldn't even have had to worry bout Fallujah had we not jumped the gun and been in there...how bout those apples?

I agree. Let's hope that the casualties, both of our troops and of the Iraqi populace, will be minimized, and that our forces can take care of business quickly.
