Clock in xp pro

Just curious but does anyone know perchance why after I set my lower left hand clock (Main screen) it sets it back a hour? I reset it due to change from summer daylight savings to winter time. Funny I thought it would reset automatically. Hmmm.

turn off the "Automatically Adjust Clock for Daylight Savings"

Better yet I changed from Central time zone to the proper Eastern time zone thru control panel settings.
Now to see if the time stays corrected.
If not I don't have the time to find the time that took the time in the first place.
