NHB access

Why is it that I am required to have a certain number of posts to obtain access to the NHB? I am not going to be around long? I have been playing this game for a year now and I do not plan to go anywhere. So what, I'm new here. Why does it matter when I registered with the DBB? There are tons of people that lurk here. Maybe I haven't found anything to reply to, nor anything worth posting. I was hoping this NHB would have some threads I would enjoy. I've applied for NHB access several times without any explanation or any information whatsoever. I just recently found the post listing requirements..in "the cafe". Why would I look in there to find access to the NHB? I sent a PM requesting info and was sent to that post.I don't know about BB monitoring, but mybe putting that post IN the NHB access area would prove useful. Thanks. My $.02.

Here's some logic for you:

If the post about gaining NHB access is in the NHB forum, and you do not have access to the NHB forum, how would you go about finding info gaining access to the NHB forum?

If you don't plan on going anywhere, 10 posts isn't that hard.

Someone should update the NHB usergroup description to reflect that limit.

Personally I think that this is a retarded rule MD has made for users (backed by xciter or not) since he has no idea who is active in this community since he doesn't play, nor come to chat. Perediablo has been playing this game for a good solid year and is in chat most everyday getting into games and reacting with others on a first name basis.

How in the hell is MD able to judge who will and who will not be around in the future? This is an absolutely ridiculous policy. When I came to this board over 5 years ago, I only lurked, never a single post. Now Iâ??m a mod here.

My point is that a policy based on post count as the measuring stick for ones involvement in the community is pointless and baseless and should be removed.

Pere is almost old enough to be MD's father, so the issue of him not being mature enough to view the censored not so "No Hold Barred" material in there is not a subject for discussion either.

Quit being such a tight a$$ MD

No, 10 posts is not that hard. I had 9 when I applied I do believe. I think this makes 11. I didn't mean INSIDE the NHB. I guess I meant in the description, or in the directions to apply.

In my opinion ops should be easy to get a hold of.
thats why i also nominate PUN for NHB! who the heck is md? unless md-3092=md-1224. I dont think ihave ever seen him in chat or talked to him.

Our MD here isn't MD-1224, but he has been around longer. He can be a real tightass at times.
