Well w/o the invention of the transistor, they might very well look like that. Funny picture though!
I remember my dad telling me at some meeting somebody telling them that a computer may one day fit in a briefcase. They were all amazed. Just imagine in 100..... computer's wont exist! They'll be..... around us

Way too many dials, and the steering wheel was a dead giveaway. Of course no ancient computers had steerings wheels. Duh.
