I'm up in Eastern TX- School keeps me pretty busy, though, doubt I could spare the time to get down there for a weekend. (There have been some Houston lans before)

Ok. I want to try modem-modem play with local players. I'm for LAN play, too. :)

There are actually quite a few pilots in that area. There used to be one or two lans in Houston every year, but the people who organized them seem to have drifted off the radar. I'd be up for another one, though!

Funny. I just brought in two new D3 players that live in Houston. I met em from Socom II (fun PS2 game)

You'll also learn all about how to catch a f'ing packet from old SandyHO! :P He used to crack me up. I'd hop into games he was in with an alias he didn't know and just drive him crazy.

I've been using Kali, but I haven't seen a local player on there.

I'm in Austin. Descent3 doesn't even work on my current computer, sadly, even though it's a pretty vanilla Athlon XP 2800+, 1GB memory, tired old Nvidia Ti4200 w/latest drivers, and WinXP SP2.

I miss D3 immensely & wish everyone a Happy 2005.

D3 should work on your machine. Did you try patching it to v1.4 and running the Setup screen again? :?
