ouch...Since when does country music constitute as "real" music?

It's not country.
It's "real" in the sense that they sing in key and use harmony, they play their instruments really well and the songs make you want to dance etc.
It was just my way of taking a shot at the low quality of "music" coming out today produced by morons who can't sing or play and producing songs that are souless.
In that sense it's fitting that they are called 'the lonely boys', because in a sea of talentless twits they are almost alone.

Aren't they the ones that did that get-stuck-in-your-head song that goes like "This. Love. Has. Taken, its toll. On me..."?

I don't know who did that, but I'm almost positive it wasn't them. Either way, that song absolutely heaves.

I keep hearing them on the radio. No offense to your music preference, but that and other things is why I switched to internet radio. I tend to like listening to stuff like Lacuna Coil, Therion, Nightwish, Daargard, etc.

I think that's Maroon 5, who I actually like.

Yes, it's Maroon 5, who I think actually have a more unique sound than Los Lonely Boys.
My wife likes Maroon 5 even more than I do. Something about their vocals appeals to me, although their lyrics seem a bit shallow.

maroon 5 used to be called kara's flowers back in the day... they changed sound from like super guitar pop/rock... to more r'n'b tinged pop and magically dropped 5 years from their real age.
love the entertainment industry.

Los Lonely Boys are awesome! "Cotton Fields and Crossroads" is my favorite song of theirs. The guitar sound is very reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughn. The lyrics actually mean something as well. I think Los Lonely Boys are a breath of fresh air in a seemingly stale, and cookie cutter-like music business. It is a very familiar, and comforting sound. The band rocks IMHO.
