Who knows, maybe you and them might come to a compromise on some controversial topic that you both like.

I think it shows some character, personally.

Clinton was never THAT bad of a president, except some few yet major mistakes (like not getting Osama when he was practically offered up to him :rolleyes:)

I think it shows character on the part of both guys.

Clinton never was really a liberal. He had some liberal positions that really irked most conservatives, but he was a fairly moderate Democrat overall. It doesn't surprise me that he'd be with Bush on certain issues and be willing to work with him, and it really doesn't surprise me that they'd get along on a personal level.

Quite often, when someone has a really rough job (president, network administrator, etc.) they'll have a personal connection with anyone else who ends up with the same job, simply because that's one person who understands what they went through.

I think it shows that top politicians can separate personal stuff from political stuff. From all that I have seen and read, both W and Clinton are warm and friendly people. Their parties may be bitter rivals when it comes to policy and politics, but that doesn't need to be the case with individuals within each party.

You guys are sooooo naive. Big 'ol Bill is makin sure Bushibabes don't nick the towels in the whitehouse for when his better half moves in.

They are frat brothers from the most popular fraternity in the land so of course they are able to hang together to score some chicks or get whatever they are after. Then they go back to thinking the other one isn't worthy...

Hell, I disliked Clinton as president, but I like him because he's...well...Clinton.
