why arn't my [img] .TXT [/img] pictures working anymore?

before i used to link images from a geocities site. those in the know know that you can bypass their external linked pictures filter by renaming your pictures to some other format (i like to use .txt).
it's always worked in teh past, but it seems now that the DBB is refusing to work with a picture that has a .txt extension.
has someone here purposely changed this? why

outsmarted by a script.... sigh... back to the evolutionary drawing board for me.

Mine worked as .txt or .nothing from tripod up until a little while ago seems it was about the time of the upgrade.

2.0.8 or 2.0.9 disabled using images other than JPG, PNG or GIF in the image tags to prevent possible exploits with PHP images (such as redirecting anyone who views it to somewhere else).

roid: Just create a simple html file with the image embedded, stick it up on your geocities account and link to it using the [url] tag.

bah, not unless i can show it in a frame withing the DBB. i like embedding images in posts.
