I was wondering what / how may Teamspeak Servers are online where Descentpilots are talking on.
Our server is: ts.descentforum.net port: 1236 password: DFNET
BTW: I created a subforum on the serverops board for teamspeak-ops...

I have one, Starkiller has one, Team NuB has one (I think), and Stresstest has one for Team [8]. They're the only ones I know of.

Are they all private?
I mean: would be cool to know the login-data of em...

We have three that are semi-private. We allow former members and trusted friends.

aha IC.
there are another two that are semi-private:
vex-server.de (request the password by a VEX-Clan-member).
the other one is the server from the SQN-Clan. Don't know if it is private or not but if there is a SQN-member reading this - please let us know if it is private or not.
I am curious if anybody of you guys is interested in making their servers aviable to other pilots too.
The reason is I'd like to have something like a teamspeak-server-share or something like that. Maybe something like a little directory of all the servers where the passwords can be requested. A list of all the servers and the contact info for each operator / responsible would be the best idea imho. The contact info could be either an ICQ-no. or just a linkage to the forum-user-profile (to PM or mail him).
If you guys are interested, just post here. I could realize something on the
ServerOps Board too.
Suggestions?

Checkor,
semi private is the best way to describe SQN's TS server.
We will gladly let our fellow D3 pilots in when asked (well, most of em
).
I'm just not sure if TO_L8 wants the addy totally public or not.
usually all you have to do is ask us in chat and we will be happy to have you visit.

Team [8]'s TS, hosted generously by Stress, is invite only.

after tol8 invited me to the SQN-TS during a game he told the other members (while I was there) that he invited me - so I thought so...
I mean I already HAVE the infos of [8], SQN and VEX but was just curious if...
But it seems that there are no "public to all descenters"-servers. Sad, but good to know.
But okay - at least people now even KNOW that there are servers and users, and whom to ask (or NOT to ask)
cheers!

There are some other voice chat servers out there that I've played on as well.
Unfortunately, most of them are indeed private.

Okay - if anybody is interested in getting his server onto this list:
http://www.descentforum.de/teamspeak/ who is running a teamspeak-server for Descenters - no matter if private / clan / passwordprotected or not, he could just enable webposting in the config of his TS-server to this page:
http://www.descentforum.de/teamspeak/webpost.php and his server will automatically show on uptimes.
My server is password-protected / semi-private too - and no passwords will be shown there...
Just check it out...

There are a few that are Non-[NuB] servers that I visit, and you would have to contact them on their positions. I visit the SQN server now and then, and one other team's and play Halo w/them. I also have addies in my address book of Private Servers. But for their Privacy, I won't name the owners.

So far only VEX joined yet. Hm - whatever. If anybody is interested he could just add that webpost url to his config and that'll do the trick. For the VEX-Server I would say: you can just ask a VEX-member to get the password. Whatever - seems like nobody is interested in new people on his server, and not even show off WHO is on his server...

You win some, you lose some. This one you lost, Checkor

I have a different POV on this, Bill. So far there are 2 german servers on that page and one is still trying to make it there. I think it would be a lost to the community if this thing won't go, so... Whatever: Servers who want to be "closed to new members" could show on that page too, so I don't see the point NOT to do it. Whatever. I am talking on those 2 servers who are on that page and sometimes I do on the SQN-Servers where are nice people who LIKE to talk to nice people and 3 servers seem to be enough to me.
@ TopWop: I just saw that your Clan has the same tech (teamspeak-page code) then mine. I think you are not going to delete your's? Would you allow me to set a hyperlink onto my list which leads to your's? Just curious...

@ TopWop: I tried to enter 2 urls there, comma or semicolon seperated, but it won't go...
BTW: I am not even trying to "win" something here...

I think it's a good idea to get some sort of directory put together for the Teamspeak servers. If your server is private just make sure you have it passworded.
