Bottom of any page "Hosted by AK Web Hosting".

Least the rest of us will know where not to get web hosting right? ;)

I just saw that like 3 minutes ago. I hadn't seen it before. Did they have permission to add such a link, or did Xciter do it?

They damn well better remove it seeing as they would've had to alter the theme Tetrad and I created in order to do it (which violates our "copyright").

Not really. It looks like some malformed HTML plastered onto the end of the page.

Code: Select all

<html>
<body>
<p align="center">Hosted by <a href="http://www.akwebhosting.net">AK Web Hosting</a></p>

</body>
</html>
Which, at the very least, violates W3 standards. :roll:

I sw it aswell. Very unprofessional on their part. If it were me, I'd fire them on the spot and find a new host.

yes i realize it's a pain. but putting in unautorized code is unprofessional to say the least. and if they do that with this board, there's a good possibility they'll do it with other clients. That's where I draw the line IMO

Try putting the HTML ignore tag at the very end of the template.

Code: Select all

jim, AK's giving you a load of bs.

they should have used a test site of their own instead of this one.
