I think the way it computes that is by the amount of time it took for you to do the last frame. If your box was off for most of a day (or running other software, or anything else that would've made it unavailable to F@H) that would explain it.
If it took 24 hours (including downtime) to do a frame that would've taken 20 minutes, your time estimates will be way off.
