Has anyone else played this yet? I've played it for a few hours, and I'm not sure it's gonna get any better than mediocre. That's why I'm asking for other opinions. If the general concensus is that it's worth getting into, I'll give it another week, otherwise I'm gonna trade it in for something else.
So far the game is just north of painfully boring.

Some DBBer opinions from when the demo came out. I doubt the opinions have changed very much as I have no heard good things.

I played the demo. Not going to touch the full version with a 10 foot pole.

If you're looking for gameplay along the lines of the first Deus Ex, then you should look elsewhere. The gameplay has changed, and while the plot somewhat continues from the first game, the feeling is... different. I guess it makes a good action game, but it's not an RPG.

It sucks.
Waiting until its worth the price for the game, meaning $9.99.
If you think about it, one has to wonder where the 3 years of development that went into this game has gone to. If you look at the old screenshots the game looked much better. Someone threw out a ton of work to replace it with this crock of ****.

i played through the game almost all the way through, i think, and it only took me 7 and a half hours of playing. i got ot the part where you had ot choose which side to join or to go on your own, and up to that point the story was pretty ****ty. i stopped palying because i didnt really care which side i went with, and it got incredibly hard out of nowhere (incredibly hard like enemy's went from humanoid to cyborg type superhuman things that were impossible to kill, and you had all these guns but no freaking ammo hard, not puzzling hard by any means). i'll probably finish it sooner or later just to see the ending, but i was utterly dissapointed.
