little gmail question

My dad's having a problem with his ISP account blocking incoming e-mail of 10mb or larger, even though he has the storage available. I know gmail accounts have a solid amount of storage space, would a seperate gmail address for these large files solve the problem?

If so, does anyone have a loose gmail invite lying around I could give him?

That's one thing I don't understand about it. All of that space, and it ends up going to waste, since you can't send anything bigger than an MP3 file.

Krom: doh

Roid: no, I never bothered to switch to gmail.

teegee: probably because they'd really perfer if you didn't use all that space.

(you SWITCH emails? man, i have like 50 email addresses from all sorts of places all going at once)

solution: Use winrar to split the file into several bits.
