One Flu over the Vatican
Tell me...does anyone find it odd that with all the money the catholic church has, they couldn't afford to give the Pope a flu shot?

Woodchip, a flu vaccine doesn't do a hell of a lot of good if one doesn't actually have a strain of the influenza virus. The pope has been hospitalized for "flu-like symptoms," not the flu specifically. The previous time he was in the hospital was for an upper respiratory infection.
Roid, no one's keeping the pope going; he continues to lead because he chooses to do so and because it is his duty to do so. Although I know that John Paul is not in the best of health, I'll continue to pray that he has the strength to keep leading. He is truly one of the greatest popes in Church history.
Actually, Flabby, the withdrawl method is also considered to be immoral.
