Or do I see like at least one new member join a day from a Russian sex site or total crylic writing so you don't know what they are? Are these people culled out now and again? I never see them post.

I'd say this is just a case of "Welcome to the internet". Any reasonably big BB is going to get lots of people to register from out of nowhere, even one that only has one hidden forum like this. If it gets to be a problem one of the admins can easly go through and prune the user database from users that have not logged on in months or have zero posts. I can do the same on the D3kBB using the advanced user control panel mod.
