Same trailer, but bigger, and you can see alot more detail, like Zaphod's second head, and the number of Vogon ships surrounding the earth.

Sheep-boy once again comes to play with the americans:Mobius wrote:Sadly, I bet everyone is American.
Should be a good movie though. Shortened somewhat from the original.

Actually, most of the characters aren't even from Earth. Of course, of the actors playing them, most are American. Douglas Adams himself said that it was ok to change the "nationality" of most of the characters, but that Arthur must be British, and he is. I liked it when everyone had a British accent, but since Adams was British it probably didn't seem that special to him. Still, it seems like a lot of supporting players (like the Vogon captain and Marvin and, most importantly, The Book) have British accents, which is cool.
Marvin's voice is done by Alan Rickman. How perfect is that?
I was worried from the previous trailer that Zaphod would only have one head. That would just be wrong. So now it looks like he just keeps the second head hidden most of the time. I bet this was DA's idea again; in the TV series from the early 1980s they spent most of their budget on a state-of-the-art animatronic head, and it looked terrible. He probably didn't want to deal with it again, even though they could obviously do a better job this time.
It looks like the movie may have some scenes that were in the original radio series, and no other versions since then. I'm all in favor of that. And obviously there's some new stuff.
What's up with Trillian kissing Arthur, though? That had better be just a fantasy sequence or something.
I'll be seeing this even if everyone says it sucks. I'm a bit of an insane fan and I can't help it. I even have the towel.

I think they stopped making the towel a long time ago. A brief search of Ebay didn't turn up anything, so you're probably out of luck.
Lobber, I think the cast was pretty much all-British in every previous version that needed a cast (the radio show, TV show and record album), and a lot of the cast was the same in all three versions. But Adams was involved in the movie before he died (it's been in development for like 20 years) and supposedly said that it was ok if they weren't all British.
Don't forget Gag Halfrunt, though. He's German.

you need a towel? well a real hitchiker will usally hunt his own down. thier often found sunning themselves on beaches preferably the sandy type and are easierly approached and captured when wearing a bikini and a blonde wig. quickly lie on the towel thus quicky and humanly killing it after which you can impregnate the delicate fibres with random foodstuffs and leave to cure for a few months letting moulds, proteins and yeasts to develope giving a hitchikers towel its well known nutritional and medisional properties. or alternativly use the voucher that comes will your copy of the guide.
