D1, D2, D3?
once all the computers are visible to eachother on the network, just start up a game on one and join from the others... IPX is good for D1 and D2.

Thanks for the reply! D3. All the computers are visible from all the computers. I'll give the IPX a try. What is IPX?

If you're already hooked up, Direct TCP/IP works for D3. Get the IP of the host computer, and put it into the IP box of the computers that need to join, then click "Search for games at this address".

Thanks again for the reply! I believe I tried that, but without any luck. Maybe I entered the IP incorrectly. Do I enter it like "\\192.168.xx.xx"?

You don't need any backslashes when you're playing in D3. Just 192.128.xxx.xxx

Maybe you've got personal firewalls on one or more of the computers you're using? Could be you need to unblock the ports. Try to portscan the server.

The back slashes are going to do it.

D3 should play very, very nicely on a home network actually.
