Faster ftp or would it matter?

I have Verizon DSL and I'm using WS_ftp95le to upload files to my site but it doesn't work when trying to upload a 152MB "MPG" video file. I get an error message: "Blocking call cancelled" messages and the file transfer is incomplete."

Is there another ftp program that would work better?

I'm trying to upload the file to my site for a friend so he can link to it and play it on another site using the following code:

<embed name="RAOCXplayer" src="VIDEO FILE URL HERE!" width="320" ShowControls="1" ShowStatusBar="0" AutoSize="false" EnableContextMenu="0" DisplaySize="0">

Any ideas?

Are you allowed hosting a file that size? I'm sure that's your problem.

I'll try "Filezilla" and yes it is old but seems to work well for everything but this larg a file.
