ICQ over Trillian = Broken

AIM will work, yet ICQ won't. I get an "Error logging into ICQ: Unknown code 28."
I've reloaded trillian, left it off for 4 hours, retyped user number and password. Nada. Any ideas on where I could start? I'm using the latest version of Trillian Pro. Thanks.

Jmeat, I had a similar problem. Try this: Go to
www.icq.com or whatever their website is now, and use the ICQ Web mode or whatever (I don't remember the name, I only used it once) Go ahead, sign in, let your list load and crap. Then exit that and try signing into Trillian again.
Thats the only thing I can think of, but if nothing else works, you can get Gaim (A Trillian reminescent program)
here, or you can get Psi
here.

It's broken right now, but they are working on a fix, I'll send you what you need to fix it when it comes out.

I was the another-satisfied-customer quote on the ICQ2Go website for MONTHS... "Great for use while I'm at school! --DCrazy". Right after that my network admin blocked ICQ2Go.

If you have automatic updates turned off in Trillian for some reason, all you need to do is go into prefrences and click update Trillian, there will be a new AIM & ICQ plugin in the list, instal it and it's good to go.

Exit trillian and restart a couple times. If that doesn't work MSG and I'll find a fix.
