I had been thinking. Now that Interplay and Outrage are basically nullified, has anyone been working on trying to get the D3 source code? Just getting a bit curious because I haven't heard much about it lately.

Actually what I would like is permission to use and convert D1 PSX and Mac music for Descent 3 missions.
We CAN use D2 music but I would like the PSX PTMC Theme and level 1 and 2 music. Maybe even Track 3. Though it would be cool to have a local band do a re-make of Track 3 since it is mostly electric guitar.

Thanks for the link.
BTW, I had used the search feature. I just didn't find anything for what I was looking for.

Psst! Vindi posted the PSX tracks a while back in this very forum. Do a search for the classic D1 music and you'll find the thread.

Yes, but what I want is official LEGAL word that you can use the PSX tracks officially in D3 levels and modifications
I have a project that could use them.

Messenger, I doubt a single person on the planet would even know, much less care, if you used the PS1 music in a D3 level.
I say just go for it.

Speaking of which, who *would* one talk to about rights to Descent? All the companies kinda died and seemed to leave the rights hanging in midair without anyone on the other end.
