Diedel:

When trying to start a multiplayer game through Kali, I attempted to select socket (-3). I received an error stating that the selection I chose was out of range. Could you please incorporate Negative socket selection as this is where our league plays competitive games.

I also could not see a version number on any of the screens but I downloaded your latest revesion on 3/17/05.

I am using Windows XP.

You have come a long way in the past year.
Please keep up the good work.
Thank you.

still do not see the version next to the logo but when I put the cursor over the file name in win Explorer it says file is 1.1.14.0

so i guess I better do another download and see if it will create a game on socket -3.

thanks for the reply

Just downloaded the latest and the file rev in Explorer is 1.1.15.0

When starting an IPX game I still cannot select a negative socket number.

where are you downloading from?
Diedel's website or what?
This is the link to latest version 1.1.16.

Ugh - I forgot to increase the version no. the last time I published a build. It's properly displayed in the main menu screen though.

I will look into the socket issue.

Edit: You could have been a little more specific - is the negative port offset rejected by the game host, or by a client? The server, right?

Edit 2: Fixed.
