Our caller ID keeps showing that someone called Cavalry Portfolio keeps calling. My Dad called them back an answering machine told him to call someone back at an 866 number. Thus we haven't made any phone calls back to it. Apparently the phone call comes from Tulsa Oaklahoma and the company is called Cavalry Investments who bought out First Credit Solutions. However, I have also read a lot of posts on the net on various boards about people being illegally threatened by them and something about them being scam artists. They are apparently debt collectors that buy junk debt. I've also read that you should avoid calling them. Something else that is funky is that you would think that they would send something in the mail. We have never recieved anythign in the mail from them.
We do not have any credit cards and my Dad stated that we don't have any current debts or loans that we need to catch up on. Anyone know anything about them?
