I just cut down heavily. I was an almost daily user for 20 years. Now it's a special occasion type of thing. I got sick of the permabuzz and the fact that I was heading straight for the pot as soon as I got home from work. In the last two months I've toked three times. I feel much better about this lifestyle. It's working out for me. And I figure I saved about 240 a month. Of course, I only smoke top shelf stuff.

.. I for can vouch for Ferno's abstinance; I couldn't entice him before or after Califest 2003 to try a toot. Ferno resisted all aspects of this marvelous plant even though before we drove down to Fremont I "recruited" him to help me manicure a fresh heap of forearm-sized buds... So it's been atleast since June 2003 then eh Ferno ? .!

i just got out of a month long holding phase (rare). i really love the taste of good weed but i prefer the effects of commercial and this stuff was the primo stuff.
more to the point... any changes people make in their lives that bring them to a more positive place is a good thing. most importantly you ain't preaching about it ferno, that says a lot imho.

Primo weed was in Vietnam. Opium soaked and a bomb to toke...everything was a disapointment there-after. Haven't smoked for thirty five years.
