I'm surprised out of all this Terri Schiavo/Pope madness nobody posted that Johnnie Cochrane died. Discuss :P

too bad the only line he'll be remembered for is "if the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!"

i want to be paid a million some dollars for a defense like that!

kur, I wasn't intending to rank them... just to demonstrate why one may or may not care about them. A disabled woman whose parents think she can be rehabilitated and whose husband wants to let her die? I can see why people care. A religious leader and one of the most important public figures of our time? Yeah, people care. A lawyer who got an ex-football player and accused murder off the hook? Meh. (As you mentioned, it's also understandable why people would care about an entertainer's death.)

It's really not that hard to see why nobody would mention the lawyer, out of all of the recent deaths...

I didn't know the guy was so old. He was a damn good lawyer though regardless on his defense of OJ.
