FreeSpace2: Movies jacked up...

The Cut-Scenes in FreeSpace2, the Screen is all white. No picture, but the Audio plays fine.
Also works fine on my other PC, but it has DX8, and I am running DX9 on my primary computer.
Any ideas?

Is this retail FS2 or the Source Code Project? The DX9 by itself shouldn't be doing anything; I can play the movies under it with no problem.

Specs? Drivers up to date? We need more info than "It won't work! HELP!" We aren't miracle workers, and we can't just pop out of your phone jack at a moment's notice to push the magic button to cure all your ills. We need specific details.

If you didn't already try it, uninstall freespace 2 and completely delete the folders then reinstall.

Ya know MD-2389, you can request more information w/o getting nasty about it.
Yes, Retail version of FS2.
Specs:
Athlon 800
768 Ram
GeForce 3 Ti200 (64mb)
I have not updated the drivers for the Video card as yet, I will try that when I get home. (They are currently Det4 Drivers)
Already tried uninstalling FS2, but that didn't work.
Will keep you posted.
My request was simply to see if others had encountered this problem, and if so, what they did to resolve it - I don't expect you to press a magic button.

MD wasn't necessarily being mean. It's just that, both here and on most other forums, so many people make posts asking for help along the lines of, "It doesn't work!" That's all well and good, but there are usually about a thousand reasons why "it" might not be working. If you give even some basic system specs or steps you've taken to try to fix the problem in your first post, then it usually narrows down the problem and makes solving it easier.

Put it this way, say we were all standing in a room, and I ask - "anyone have this problem", and a guy responds with an answer like that..
Nice of you to defend him, but his replay was nasty and unwaranted. (and I would hardly call no video during the cut-scenes "all my ills".)
At any rate.
I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered the problem, and what they did to fix it. Getting that information first would be eaiser than running through a ton of trouble-shooting steps (Update Drivers, Patch this, re-install that). Then I could try whatever "so & so" did before I waste my time.
What I have done thus far is uninstall/reinstall FS2.
I am going to update my Video Drivers now, will keep you posted.

Issue resolved.
I updated the Video Drivers, and the video now plays.
Could be due to the fact that I am not running a DX9 Video card, but have DX9 installed. Updated drivers seem to have resolved this.
Thanks guys.
