Yeah, no kidding. Interplay is so hard set on not allowing anymore Descent games to be made, or maybe even re-made. Anyway, the screenshot is from Doom 3's expansion "Resurrection of Evil." That teal orb you see in the picture isn't a powerup though. It's actually one of several blades that move back and forth across the room at a speed fast enough to kill you in one hit. You use a special item that you get at the beginning to slow time down so you can past them without getting hit.
