W/ all the MMORPGs going on lately, has anyone tried this one ? Fun ?

secondlife != traditional MMORPG

It's more about socializing, dancing and wearing pretty clothes, buying land/building a house, playing user-made subgames (since there is no real point to Secondlife) plus lots of cybersex, including a large dose of virtual cosplay and fetish sexuality. Oh, and scripting, animations and art-type stuff for all of the above.

Programmers, 3D artists, animators etc ... and cybersex addicts have fun.
Real gamers tend to stay away unless they're also programmers, artists, animators etc ... or cybersex addicts.

What did you expect for a 1-time fee of under $10.00?

Fee's go up to $195/month.. Hm, "!= traditional MMORPG" plus I'm a programmer..

Seriously, you'll probably hate it, but OTOH it's pretty cool too. If you want to socialize in a virtual environment, it's a big old chatroom and if you get bored you can always script up something fancy like a new sexual position or something.

But why not play WOW with us instead, is it the monthly fee thing?

That's why I don't play WoW, not worth the money.

I was in the beta, I know what I'm missing, its not worth it.
