Easy. Only part that made it difficult at all was the fact that you had to leave the prisoner on the island alone several times. Thus the prisoner would escape.
Heh, I learned how to solve problems like this in High School Geometry. Purdy fun stuff but relativly simple once you get the concept behind it.

Doh! Typed that wrong. It was 4:30 A.M. and no sleep under my belt. A few hours after I did the puzzle so I was also doing it from memory at the time, heh.

Not quite, no. You had a couple boats going the same direction twice in a row and stuff like that...mob-messenger wrote:There, fixed within a mere 20-30 seconds of thought hehe. :)

Try: >mom-daughter 2
Delete: <mom-daughter 1 (can't make the boat go the same way twice!)
<mom

<dad
>cop-convict
<mom
>mom-dad
<dad
>dad- boy 1
Delete: <dad (would be leaving one boy over with mom)
Instead: <cop - crook
... >cop-boy 2
... <cop
... >cop-crook
Done

BTW, that was sort of a test on my part. I wanted to see exactly how desperate you guys are to pick at me. I see many mistakes others on this board make from day to day but I at least have the respect/kindness to leave it be. It's called being human and having a life other than what is on the net.Lothar wrote:Not quite, no. Yes I meant daughter 2 instead of 1 when I wrote it and I knew it. I was too lazy to change it and figured that I would like to see how nit picky people are.

LOL... nice after-the-fact rationalization, bromob-messenger wrote:I wanted to see exactly how desperate you guys are to pick at me. I see many mistakes others on this board make from day to day but I at least have the respect/kindness to leave it be.
I think the main reason people are picking on you is because you keep saying it's "relatively simple" and "easy" and requires "mere... seconds of thought". Yet your first attempt didn't work, and your subsequent attempts to repair the solution haven't fared much better.
